Same day
Print in before the shop closes, price back the same day. No quote queue, no week-long silence.
Fast turnaround
One-off broaches built and shipped on tooling-shop timelines, not catalog backorders.
Held to tolerance
Consistent geometry, sharp cutting teeth, repeatable results across the run and the reorder.
A real toolmaker
You talk to the person grinding the tool — not a sales rep reading off a screen.
The whole flow
Send your print, get a quote.
Three steps from drawing to delivered tool. Most quotes go out the same business day.
Send the print
Upload a PDF, DXF, photo, or a marked-up sketch. Width, depth, length, and bore size are all we need to start.
We quote it
A toolmaker reviews the geometry, confirms anything unclear, and sends price and lead time — same day where we can.
We cut & ship
Approve it and we make your one-off broach to print, check it, and ship — US-primary, worldwide on request.
Reference · ANSI B17.1
Standard keyway sizes.
Square parallel keys by shaft diameter. A starting point for your spec — your print always governs the cut.
| Shaft diameter (incl.) | Key width | Width (dec.) | Nom. hub depth |
|---|
Nominal hub depth shown as W ÷ 2 for square keys (half the key seats in the hub). Rectangular keys, set-screw flats, and special depths are no problem — note them on your print. Need it in metric or a non-standard width? Send it over.

Not a sales rep
Talk to the toolmaker who makes it.
When you ask a question, the answer comes from the bench — the person grinding the broach, who knows what the geometry can and can't do. Print in, real answer back.
